Aveda Art Of Nature Collection features six eye shadows, two eyeliners, one blush, one gloss, two lip liners, and two lipsticks. The collection features an assortment of soft, colorful, bold shades. I got the entire collection and was more than happy to swatch all of it for you! Keep reading for swatches and product information.
The eyeshadows from the collection went from bright to neutral, yet all the shades offered were very soft and easy to apply. I will go more into detail from shade to shade below. These swatches were done without a primer, but with a primer they show up on the skin even better. Pigmentation on all the shades is good and the colors are buildable. The eyeshadows retail for $14.00
Oceanic is a soft island blue. It has a very soft shimmer to it.
Lemongrass is the lighter of the two shades, a light white based green with a shimmery finish.
Papyrus is the darker of the two green shades, but not by much. Papyrus is bright and fresh green with a soft shimmer.
Latana is brown toned coral with a shimmer finish.
Bare Bellis is a combination of tan and baby pink. Shimmer finish.
Cinnamon Bark is the most gorgeous of them all. It’s a rich red based mahogany with a satin finish.

Nourish-mint Rehydrating Lip Glaze
Nourish-mint rehydrating lip glaze is perfect for days that you don’t want to wear lipstick, but you want all the color. Aveda’s lip glaze is not heavy on the lips, has a delicious mint taste and scent, and leaves the lips hydrated for hours. Aveda’s lip glaze retails for $18.00
Kukui is a cinnamon brown. It has a super shiny gloss to it. I can imagine creating a look using Cinnamon Bark eyeshadow on the eyes and this gloss on the lips. It’s a beautiful color but colors like this and darker age me.
Nourish-mint smoothing lip color
Aveda nourish-mint lip colors do so much more than provide a pretty color. They make the lips appear fuller, smooth fine lines, and increase moisture in the lips. Both shades are completely pigmented, apply easily, and give about 6 hours of wear. Cana is the prettier of the two because I love a bold red lip. Melochia bloom is very petty, but it does not fit my skintone. Smoothing lip color retails for $16.00
Melochia Bloom– light white based coral. I want to say this has a shimmery cream finish. It is very opaque.
Cana– red orange that leans more towards red than orange. This also has a sheen finish too it, but applies very creamy and smooth.
Petal Essence Face Accents
Hibiscus is a tri-colored blush that goes from a deep red coral, to a baby pink, to a nude highlight. Pigmentation is decent in the red coral, good in the baby pink, and excellent in the nude. The colors individually work well but together it’s a really confusing situation. If I swipe from red down to nude, I get a little red and a lot of nude. It’s basically the same if I go from nude, up to red. If I use a blush brush, I get a nice highlight shade. Hibiscus retails for $24.00
See? Weird when blended with my fingers.
Petal Essence Eye Definer
Aveda’s eye definers allow you to line, accent, define or shade your eyes for a bold look or so a subtle and natural look. The eye definers are well pigmented and last all day. I did use Jade Vine on my waterline and while it does not last as long as it does on the skin, it was beautiful, even if for only 3 hours. Eye definers retails for $16.00
Jade Vine is a bright and bold green with a matte finish.
Wild Indigo is a deep midnight blue with a matte finish.
Nourish-mint Lip Liner
Nourish-mint lip liners define and and protect lip color from feathering while fruit butters and plant waxes nourish the lips. When used along with the lipsticks you can have8 hours of rich lipcolor with no fading or feathering. Aveda lip liners retail for $16.00
Barberry Bloom– matte red- orange. This liner goes well with Cana.
Cocoa Bean– matte chocolate liner. The liner goes well with Kukui.
