Exclusive: MAC Marilyn Monroe- Available October 2012?

A Marilyn Monroe-inspired range of make-up is set to be released by MAC Cosmetics later this year.

MAC Cosmetics are paying tribute to Marilyn Monroe with a new make-up collection.

The look of the iconic beauty – who was recently portrayed by Michelle Williams in movie ‘My Week with Marilyn’ – will be represented by a limited edition range including 30 custom-designed items priced from $15 to $27.

Among the pieces will by various eye shadow shades, lipsticks, nail polishes and eyeliners, and the range will be launched across the world in October.

I expect to see a few product to recreate that glowing flawless skin… give us an awesome MSF!

So I really, honestly debated on whether or not to buy this because everywhere I looked, every site I visited, The lipstick looks different. I decided to go on and take the leap for more than one reason, mainly because this is for a good cause.

Viva Glam Nicki is a satin finish MAC lipstick, described as a medium pink with yellow undertones that makes it appear coral. This is a very unique shade to me because it looks one color, and totally applies another.

Her makeup was done by Robin Fredriksz using products from Avon. Robin put the focus on Reese’s eyes, starting with a subtle cat eye and using four different shadows to blend out a smoky eye. To complete the look, Robin layered on the mascara and applied a soft pink cream blush and lipstick to give Reese a natural glow.Check out the products listed to get the same soft chic look.

Adele shined like a star last night at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards, racking up 6 wins at the end of the night (are we shocked? Of course not!). With the wins, and the winning voice and the winning dress, one question remains- What color is that on her lips?

Well, in true Aprill fashion, I don’t know right now, but I can recommend colors for you!

I am really working hard to keep you guys up on the new and upcoming Beauty Sample Programs that come about. It really feels like every month a new company comes out of the woodwork with another program.
