I have not reviewed anything from Bombshell Cosmetics since Fall of last year so imagine my surprise when I got a box filled with goodies from their 2012 Summer collection. Check out my review, swatches and if you love these products enough, why not enter to win your own set?
First up are the shadows. Starlet is a medium chocolate brown, Starstruck is a vibrant grape, and Bright eyes is a rich pale gold. All the shadows are silky and easy to apply. How long these shadows last depends solely upon which primer you use. Check out the swatches of all three below. All the shadows retails for $10.95
Onyx Eyeliner is a liner that is versatile enough to go from a thin line to a thick winged eyeliner look. I wish the pigmentation was a little deeper, but this liner is easy to apply and easy to remove. Check out my swatch below. Onyx eyeliner retails for $11.95
Sugar Lips is a cool toned pink lipgloss. I’m actually surprised that it looked decent because I have had my hands on a many cool toned lipsticks and lipglosses in my day and some of them have the potential to look bad so yes, I was happy this one. The wand is doe-foot, and the color is as rich in the tube as it is on the skin. Sugar Lips retails for $10.95
(yes, my arms are hella hairy deal with it.)
Last but not least is Sweet Cheeks, another cool toned blush to match the cool toned lipgloss. The shimmer is minimal, and it has great pigmentation. Sweet Cheeks is $12.95.
And here’s a photo of the gloss and blush side by side. Cute right?
