Luxe! Carol’s Daughter Monoi Split End Sealer
I hate going to the salon to have my hair trimmed. Giving a hair stylist permission to cut my hair is like releasing a kid in a candy store and asking them to just pick one thing- It’s impossible. Carol’s Daughter Monoi Split End Sealer kills two birds with one stone- moisturizes ends and mends a large portion of split ends instantly.
Yes… instantly, and without the aid of alcohol, parabens, petroleum, mineral oil, and artificial colors.
I know, I know… this is where you tell me that you have a huge tub of coconut oil that you use to seal your ends and it treats you just fine. And I totally respect that. but it’s not sealing split ends, only providing moisture. Carol’s Daughter Monoi Split End Sealer is like another product that I have reviewed before. It contains PEC, or polyelectrolyte complex. This means that PVM/MA copolymer and Polyquaternium-28 have an all out make-out session and they join together. In most cases, it’s only temporary, but hey! To have sealed is better than never sealing at all right? This also means that no, the Carob Seed Oil does not do the mending. It makes the hair stronger, but it’s not what mends the split ends. Only PEC can do that. Need proof? I have photographic evidence!
It’s PEC’s smooching session on tape!
I can attest to the instant moisture that this provides to the ends of my hair, and my daughter. She’s natural, I am not. Even with me having relaxed hair, it does wonders for making hair hair soft, my ends moist, and yes, I have a few split ends and they are mended almost instantly. This is a miracle worker in a little bottle for sure.
The sealer dispenses white and creamy, not greasy at all. It rubs away completely clear and clean with no residue and the smell is so intoxicating!
Carol’s Daughter Monoi Split End Sealer retails for $25.00 on Sephora.com. You should get some if you have split ends because this is the trick to sealing your ends!
