DKNY Be Delicious vs. DKNY Be Delicious Eau So Intense
DKNY Be Delicious (the original green one) has been around long enough that it’s almost time to consider it a classic. Since the release of this original scent, we have seen a red apple version, a golden delicious version and now DKNY has went back to the basics releasing a more intense version of the fragrance we all love. But do they really differ? Keep reading!
It is still in the clear apple shaped bottle that has become an icon and a recognizable figure in the fragrance world. Only difference is the intense version has an apple green cap, whereas the original has a silver cap. No biggie.
More Intense or No?
Trudi Loren, VP, Corporate Fragrance Developmental Worldwide, The Estee Lauder Companies states that there are two different ways that you can make a fragrance more intense- you can raise the concentration, or you can pick one or two key notes and magnify them individually. They chose to maintain the original structure, and amplify the entire fragrance to give it a higher concentration, making it more intense, and last longer on the skin.
I actually prefer the more intense version over the original. It smells sweeter, more intense overall and it does last longer. I think I will be passing my original bottle over to my daughter!
