Essence Cosmetics Lands In The US! Check Out Where!

This is just a friendly heads up that Essence Cosmetics has arrived from across the pond and into limited Walgreen’s locations.

Essence Cosmetics is a brand that was launched on the German market back in 2002, but since then it has grown to be the #1 European cosmetic brand (according to Euromonitor International, 2012) found in every grocery store, drugstore, department store and fashion chain in Europe.

Essence Cosmetics is an affordable brand that does not test on animals.

My first experience with Essence Cosmetics takes me back to 2008 during my swapping days on MakeUpAlley. Swapping used to be somewhat of a joy then, because if you swapped with someone in Europe, chances are they were throwing in Essence Cosmetics products as extras (or Bourjois), which in turned caused me to have somewhat of a craving for their products, only to learn that they were not sold in the US.

So imagine my surprise, wandering around in Walgreen’s and find a complete display of Essence products. Best part? Everything is very affordable, cheap if you want to be technical, but the quality is not. The only thing that bums me out is they don’t carry foundations for women of color. But hopefully they change that.

So let’s welcome Essence Cosmetics to Walgreens. It is only at limited locations. Find a location near you here. Check out Chippmunk for current Walgreens deals and coupons!
