neutral palettes

I think it’s quite clear that the neutral trend is not going anywhere anytime soon and that’s quite alright. The neutral or nude eye look is very popular and versatile making it a hit amongst noobs and makeup professionals alike. But… this trend could be foreseen as a problem if you can’t afford the HG of neutral palettes, Urban Decay Naked 1,2, or 3. Maybelline recently released a palette full of nude shades, but there was one problem, the shades were not pigmented enough. A professional would have no problem working with the palette (though I doubt they would), and someone new to makeup would be absolutely frustrated.

Lucky for you, I have a slew of palettes laying around the house, all under $10, all containing nude (or neutral, or earthtone, whatever you want to call it) shades. Check it out.

4. Wet’n’Wild Comfort Zone, $4.99

wet n wild comfort zone

Comfort Zone is the mother of all palettes with an earthtone twist. This is probably one of the older 8 pans from Wet’n’Wild, but the pigmentation is a 10 and the look combinations are endless. Don’t be a fool and pass this palette by!
