Julep’s Bombshell Maven July box was packed with all kinds of goodies to prepare for this fall’s nail trends. Included in this month’s box was:
- A cute tote bag
- Julep Kim
- Julep Harley
- Julep Acetone free conditioning nail polish remover
- Candy! (yes, they put candy in every box)
Julep Harley is a metallic silver. Two coats will get you a nice opaque color
Julep Kim is a black metallic with metallic silver swirls throughout the lacquer
After applying both of these colors, I figured I would use the new remover that came in the box. This product is a combination of good and bad. I like the professional pump action bottle, however it barely pumped product out. This is a really great remover and it efficiently cleans all the lacquer off, leaving the nails and the cuticles smooth and soft. Problem is, it costs $14 and I cant see myself shelling that kind of $$ for a 4 ounce bottle of remover.
Julep lacquers are ‘four free’, meaning it does not contain formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, or DBP. You can order any of the shades you see here or purchase your own box for $19.99 a month. This is one of the few beauty subscriptions that I like. I like nail lacquers, and I get a variety every month. Hopefully, I never receive doubles, or that’s when I will throw in the towel.
