Lessons In Nail Lacquer History: Manglaze Santorum

santorum

ManGlaze isn’t for the faint of heart or for the PC police.  They do, however, produce some of the best matte polishes out in the market.

For those of you not aware of the background of Santorum’s namesake, here’s a recap (thanks to Wikipedia):

Santorum is a word derived from the surname of Rick Santorum, a former Pennsylvania Senator and 2012 Republican Presidential nominee.  Due to his disparaging remarks on same-sex marriage, columnist and gay rights activist Dan Savage held a contest to create a definition for the word “santorum.” The winning definition is “the frothy mixture of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the byproduct of anal sex.”

Per ManGlaze, “We use alcohol tenderness and gentle persuasion to produce MANGLAZE SANTORUM. Our slow churning technique renders the smoothest, froth-free ‘Santorum’ you’ve ever experienced.”

…y’all still with me? Bless you.

Santorum’s bottle design is a rip on Suntory whiskey from the movie Lost in Translation
