Here’s a new product from L’Oreal named Voluminous Miss Manga.
I’ve heard blogs buzzing about this product since May, every reaction about Miss Manga hitting the US was one of excitement. I literally didn’t understand what the big deal was about, until I did a little reading on Kawaii culture, and discovered that large eyes exemplifies innocence, hence the large contacts and huge voluminous lashes. The term Manga refer to comics. Sounds cool enough, Rite Aid sent me a sample, so let’s give it a test run!
Miss Manga Packaging And Features
Miss Manga is packaged in a black tube with a metallic pink wand. The packaging that holds the mascara is adorned in cute little Kawaii pandas with HUGE eyes and HUGE lashes. Cute. A little spooky… but cute.
- Clump free
- Flake free
- Smudge free
- 360 degree flexor brush
- Mega impact formula
- Most importantly, the Manga look- bold lashes, huge lashes.
The brush looks like it gets stuff done. It’s very wide at the end and gets narrow as you get closer to the tip. The brush is also very flexible, with a 360 degree neck to ensure that you reach every lash.
Formula And Application
One word PERFECT! Instead of covering the bases by telling you what works, I think it’s easier that I tell you what does not work about this mascara. And the answer is nothing! Application was easy and I got HUGE lashes with two coats. Just check out the before and after if you don’t believe me:
