MAC Rain Of Flowers is a beautiful and unique repromote from MAC.  This polish made it’s debut in August of 2010 with the Nail Trend F/W 2010 collection. It was described back then as purple black base with violet and blue flecks. The color remains beautiful and true as it was last year.

Even though this polish is described as a frost, it is at the top of my list as one of the most beautiful frosts that I have encountered. I love the almost black purple base and the shimmer of the violet micro glitter when it hits the light. It’s intoxicating!

It took two coats to get a good opaque look from this shade. The first coat was very thin and streaky but a second coat made that all better. Besides, this is not the kind of polish you want to wear a thin coat of anyway.
