NARS Eye Paints are described by NARS as versatile product that can be used as an eyeshadow or an eyeliner. The collection offers 10 shades. I have three to show you today and here they are!
Iskandar appears to be a cool gold in the packaging, but swatches and wears like a warm lightened antique gold with a shimmery finish. Color payoff is really good. Blending is possible, but not easy with this color. I got more of the shimmer to pull than the actual gold base color.
Transvaal is a really cool, fun color in my opinion. This is a smoky gray with a matte finish. This is another shade that poses a bit of a challenge to me when it comes to blending. It wont budge at all! It dries very quickly, so you have to work fast if you are trying to wear as an eye shadow.
Ubangi is a dark navy blue with blue and purple shimmer. Blending out when dry is impossible with this shade, and it also dries very fast.

Overall I think I will use these for eyeliners than I will eye shadows. All the colors are gorgeous, so I don’t have a must have out of the three, because you need them all! I experienced no fading or creasing and I wore each one for 12 hours (with a primer). I tend not to test wear without a primer, because I don’t go without my primer, like ever.
NARS Eye Paints retail for $25 each. You can find them on the NARS website.
