This is for the girls that love the eyeliners that come in Sharpie form… like me. Milani Cosmetics took the Color Play felt tip liner and made it HUGE. Milani Eye Tech Bold is advertised as a one stroke application liner with long lasting wear that’s smear and smudgeproof. Sounds too good to be true?
Milani Eye Tech Bold packaging is a black marker like tube with gold writing. The cap removes itself just like like a marker, but unlike markers, you can not affix the top to the back on the liner (that would have been really neat for gals like me what have runaway caps). Ladies with small hands may complain that it’s a big tube and not ergonomically friendly, but I have big hands, so I don’t have a problem with that.
The felt tip part of the liner is pretty big itself, but the very tip is fine, so I had no problem making thin or thick lines on my eye. When I do use this liner, it will not be for thin lines anyway, if you own the Color Play felt tip liners, then you would feel like me about not needing thin lines from the Eye Tech Bold.
This liner does have a smell, but it does not linger around for long. It smells like a marker, and the smell goes away as soon as it dries. Dry time averages between 16 and 28 seconds (yes, I timed it).
Is it waterproof? No
How does it remove? Easily with soap and water or your favorite eye makeup remover.
Does it smudge? Not even a little bit.
Does it smear? Like if you are crying or sweating or get caught in the rain, yes. Bright side to it smearing? It all comes off once you wipe it clean.
How long does it last? I got 12 hours out of this liner. Skindinavia will not save this liner.
