OPI SO SO Skullicious Swatches And Review
Trick or Treat! Halloween is not that far away, so how about some grown woman goodies to celebrate Halloween right! OPI So So Skullicious is a set of four mini sized lacquers that is inspired by the Day Of The Dead.
The lacquers appear to be crèmes, but in my opinion they remind me of the jelly texture. The amount of coats needed per lacquer ranged from shade to shade. Keep reading for photos, swatches, and my thoughts.
There’s always a shade that does not necessarily match the theme and this one is it! A Rose From The Dead is a very pretty bright and rosy pink. It leans more on jelly texture than cream. It took about 3 coats to be opaque.
Candlelight is a sheer yellow. Almost reminds me of a jelly texture. It’s very sheer and takes about 4 coats to be opaque. As you see it photographed here- two coats.
Hi Pumpkin! is a medium orange cream. This one took two coats
Mourning Glory is a shiny black. Reminds me of patent leather. This one took two coats.
The only complaint I have is the brush itself. Some of the bristles were sticking up and out, and it was hard to get the brush in and out of the bottle to paint my nails. Removal is very simple. I use non acetone remover and washed my hands!
Each nail lacquer shade in this set contains no DBP, Toluene, or Formaldehyde. So So Skullicious will be available for a limited time beginning September 2012, at Professional Salons, including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, JCPenney, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, and ULTA, for $12.50 ($14.95 CAN) suggested retail for each mini pack.
