Order Up! Question Of The Day- In What Order Do You Apply Makeup?

I thought this was a really good question! I decided to ask because I got an email from a company that was showing a ‘how to’ on makeup, and they suggested doing the eyes first, and then doing everything else. So that made me wonder, and want to ask, what order do you apply makeup? Here’s mine-

Moisturizer
Primer
Concealer
Foundation
Powder
Blush
Eyeshadow
Eyeliner
Mascara
Lips
Finishing spray

So what say you? In what order do you apply makeup?

You are supposed to do eyes first because if the eye products fall on your face you can just brush it off and then apply your foundation, etc. However, even though I know this I do not always follow. Normally I do the following:

Moisturizer
Primer
Foundation
Eyeshadow
Eyeliner
Mascara (maybe)
Blush
Lips

  I've heard that as well! I tried it once, and the shadow mixed all in with my foundation and I was blue under the eyes LOL! I need a fan brush!

I usually do a lot of fashion/runway shows when I’m working as a MUA so for that reason I’m trained to do moisturizer/primer, foundation, brows, eyeshadow, mascara, cheeks, lips, setting powder and finally lashes. I do the things that are most important to the look and the most time consuming first, which is skin & brows. If those are done and you get told you only have 5 minutes left, they’ll still look good on camera.
