Rite Aid & Revlon Your Story-Your Shade Winners + Giveaway
Rite Aid recently collaborated with Revlon in the Your Story Your Shade Contest. Revlon developed two nail shades and asked Rite Aid shoppers to honor someone affected by women’s cancer by entering a story and naming a shade on Rite Aid’s Facebook Page.
The grand prize winner was Jill, who got to name her shade “Diamond Dee”, and got to join Rite Aid and Revlon on stage at the New York walk opening ceremonies that just happened May 3. Here’s the story behind the shade:
“In 2003, my mom was diagnosed with cancer and I was 29 at the time. By the time they discovered it, the cancer had spread. I was with her every moment; she had to overcome so much in her life! In the end she was full of love, always giving to those in need! Even today I still use her saying, “If I have two and you have none, then you’ll have one and I’ll have one!” My mom’s nickname was Diamond Dee! I miss her so and everyday I strive to be even half the mother she was! She will always be my Diamond Dee”
Diamond Dee is a soft white toned pink lacquer with purple reflects and a pearl finish.
Pretty In Strength is a medium toned pink with a crème finish.
