Capture

Last week, L’Oreal launched a Facebook campaign, rallying women together, so that we could collectively pledge to never fake it again, and by fake it, they mean wear fake lashes.

Now if you know me, I never really fooled around with them anyway.  They just don’t look right and besides, I have a different mascara for every look that I can trying to achieve.  If I want dramatic stunt queen lashes, I know what tube to grab, so this campaign was not for me anyway.

But…there’s one thing that bothers me…

In every single mascara print ad, not just L’Oreal, they advertise mascara whilst the model is wearing…fake…lashes… So are they going to never fake it again as well? Will L’Oreal ditch their false lashes along with us?

If there’s one thing that companies know, it’s that we would never stop purchasing mascara, so at this stage, why lie?

How do you feel about all companies that advertise mascara using false lashes?

And if you want, go over to https://www.facebook.com/lorealparis to take the pledge and enter daily* for the chance to win** a free full-size Voluminous False Fiber Lashes Mascara.

* While supplies are available; Limit of one (1) prize per person for the entire Promotion Period

If you ever pay attention to me on my Twitter account, I mentioned a few months about that Target was giving away their Beauty bag again this year. And what’s better than a beauty bag? A free beauty bag Open-mouthed smile

The design of the bag this year is wider and thinner, and it’s fucshia this year as opposed to purple like last year. I like this year’s bag!

Apparently I missed the memo a few months ago that glittery lashes were in. I have always felt like glitter on the lashes was childish, then Hard Candy came out with Ginormous lash which was basically a topcoat in a tube and I played with it and tweaked it. Since doing that review, I have no used it since because like I said, glittery lashes is not my thing. Enter L’Oreal.

Duo-tubed mascara. One side to lengthen and intensify and the other side to illuminate.  Does it work? Let’s see!

Saw these in Walgreens and the first thing that came to my mind….SHADESTICK COMPARABLE! And I guess they are.  They are not as blendable, because you have like 2 seconds after you apply it to the lid, to do what you are gonna do, unless you are using this as a base.  You cannot wash these off with just soap and water, you have to use a makeup remover, because you may be lucky enough to see in one of these pics red marks where I was scrubbing for dear life and then got the makeup remover out.  They will not under no circumstances crease on the lid.   Here are some swatches, yes they are watermarked :)
