llarowe

I think we spend so much time telling readers about customer service horror stories we forget to tell them about the stars that made our online shopping experience great! So here’s one to add to your list- llarowe.com

I was looking around at other nail blogs and saw the new holographic lacquers, and the Ozotic lacquers and I was wondering where is everyone getting those from? One of my friends referred me to llarowe.com, a great site for finding exotic and hard to find lacquers.  I decided that I would share my excellent customer service experience with you guys just in case you are looking for any of the lacquers that the site offers.

llarowe offers the following brands-

  • Glitter Gal
  • Ozotic
  • HITS
  • A England
  • Lynnderella
  • Ludurana

I ended up picking up HITS Hermes, HITS Mari Moon Chameleon, and Ozotic Multichrome 506.

SANY0034

One thing that I really loved about this site is shipping was honestly reasonable. I think I paid anywhere between $3-$4 for shipping on three bottles. Compared to transdesign that makes you pay $10 no matter how many bottles you have. That’s my biggest hang-up with them.

Shipping was very fast! I paid on January 25th and got my package on January 27th!

The owner even emailed me after a week to make sure I received my package, and if I as happy and was open to any feedback. When’s the last time a company emailed you to make sure everything was sent to you ok? Most only want you to review the products sent on their website.

So that was my quick review of their site! Be sure if you are looking for any of the following brands listed above, you check out their site before you go anywhere else! Authenticity, low shipping costs, fast shipping, and excellent communication! Thank you so much for making a lacquer addict like myself happy!

Have you ever shopped there before? What’s your experience? Comment and let me know!

And no, I was not paid for this review or given anything in exchange for this review, I am just a happy customer!

OPI Nicki Minaj

I wanna first say sorry for the delay.  There has been so much going on and I ended up ordering this collection late because the site I wanted to buy from was sold out.

OPI announced back in October that they would be producing a line of nail lacquers inspired by the artist Nicki Minaj.  The collection was inspired by her unique style, her love of bright colors and her album, ‘Pink Friday’.

Christian Dior once worked as a gallerist and kept art close to his heart throughout his career as a visionary couturier. In tribute to this history, Dior has collaborated with German artist Anselm Reyle to create the limited edition Anselm Reyle for Dior Eyeshadow Palette. This striking palette features a camouflage pattern in shades of silver, grey, charcoal and violet. In addition, there will be five limited edition Reyle-inspired shades of Dior Vernis available: Ultra Violet, Pink Graffiti, Electric Blue, Metallic Silver and Untitled Black.

The palette and Vernis shades are part of a larger Anselm Reyle accessories collection—featuring bags, shoes, and jewelry—which will launch worldwide as well in January. Reyle immersed himself in the heart of Dior and was given cart blanche in the design process. He played with colors, shaking up the codes of the mythical Avenue Montaigne Couture House, which offered all its savoir-faire to serve its imagination.

“Most of my work builds on object that already exist, which I then transform. I applied the same philosophy.”
-Anselm Reyle

zoya

Zoya has created an outstanding line for the Spring that contains 6 shades with 3 different finishes- crème, metallic, and shimmer. The colors were not what I expected for the Spring- I expected all crèmes, a glitter or two, various shades of pink or a ton of pastel colors, so it was nice to see a change.

100_2998

Zoya Bevin is a sea foam green, crème no shimmer. Zoya says sage green and I don’t agree, sage would be a tad deeper.

100_3000

Zoya Cho is a vanilla crème with a hint of shimmer.

100_3008

Zoya Farah is the more beige sister of Zoya Cho, just with no shimmer and touch more of beige.

100_3012

Zoya Skylar is slate blue with silver shimmer. I do not agree that this is a metallic. Or maybe it’s that the metallic shimmer was not overpowering. Either way it’s a cute color.

100_3014

Zoya Lotus is a soft  dusty purple with bronze glitter reflects.

100_3016

Zoya Tru is a darker eggplant purple, with the same bronze glitter reflects

Overall I am impressed with this collection. The crèmes tend to be a little thick so keep that in mind. Lacquers were easy to apply and easy to remove. None of the listed 6 polishes left stains on my nails. The polishes took 2 coats to apply and achieve full coverage on the nails, which makes Zoya’s ‘full coverage’ claims fact.

Must have shades- Lotus, Skylar, Bevin

I can do without Cho and Farah, because there are enough nude/neutral shades in the world. They are nice, so if you don’t have any nude polishes, pick these up.

Tru is a nice color for women with darker skin tones.

Ultra long-wearing, glossy nail lacquers by Zoya are free of harmful industrial

chemicals like toluene, camphor, formaldehyde, resin, dibutyl phthalate (DBP)

that are known to cause cancer and birth defects.
