The Miss Universe Organization named OPI its official nail care sponsor this June. Additionally, Weiss-Fischmann will be a judge for the 2011 Miss USA^® pageant, a precursor to the Miss Universe competition.

OPI joins tennis superstar Serena Williams in announcing the latest three lacquers in the Glam Slam! collection. To celebrate the world’s oldest, most prestigious tennis tournament, Glam Slam! England features two duo-packs filled with sparkle.

You remember the preview don’t you?

OPI captures the bright colors and breathtaking escapades seen in Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer Films’ Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides with six limited-edition Nail Lacquers and a new Silver Shatter! R&B Singer Monica has inked a deal with Orly for a line of 6 nail polishes to be released in the summer of 2011. The nail polish line, created in conjunction with her cousin, is called “Nail Inspirations.” Each bottle will contain an inspirational quote to remind us to stay encouraged, stay focused, enjoy life and know that hard times will come in many different fashions (relationships, work, etc.).”

I love Monica! She is a very down to earth mother so knowing that she is releasing the polishes with inspirational quotes does not come as a surprise to me.
