I am slowly getting into jewelry. I didn’t wear it for the longest time, because of my irresponsibility, everything I had, I lost, I broke, I misplaced, or it was stolen. After getting married, and have the grand responsibility of keeping up with my wedding ring, it wasn’t all that bad. I’m still not into ultra expensive jewelry pieces, because well, I could be using that money for something more important… like makeup. Anyway…
I stuck my toe into bracelets for the first time last year when this lady that I know started making custom bracelets. I loved that thing until of course my two year old snatched it and beads flew everywhere in the doctor’s office. I figured if I had a more sturdy bracelet, it would not break. So my mom brought up the idea of charm bracelets. I think I want one.
A charm bracelet is a piece of customizable jewelry, that you can add cute little charms to or what not. Self expression all wrapped up into one piece of jewelry. Me gusta.
So I was browsing around looking for charms and ran into one place, it’s overseas which sucks, but they have a nice selection of cute charms. These Pandora Charms from the British Department Store, House of Fraser are kinda cute.
There’s the openwork heart charm, 14k gold.
The love letter charm is cute, honestly I don’t write many love letters, but it’s still cute.
I’m leaning on the fence with the Statement Heart, I think I wanna do something with birthstones instead. Mine, my kids, and my husband. I’d prefer an all gold bracelet.
Well anyway, does anyone have a charm bracelet? What’s the average price that you paid for a completed one? Anything I should know or keep in mind when looking for charms? I’m so new to this. When I find out everything I need to know, I will show you guys the final result!
